I'm taking a pause from writing Garth Black's book (yes, he grew on me as I hope he'll grow on you, so he gets a book of his own coming out this fall) to let you all know that NEAR & FAR is live!!!

This is the sequel to LOST & FOUND, that little book I put out a few months ago that all of you readers blew my mind over! You read it, spread the word, then spread the word some more and then . . . BAM! it hit the New York Times and USATODAY lists and I started pinching myself and breathing into paper bags and, well, the rest is history.

Except, the rest isn't history. Because Jesse and Rowen have one last chapter in their story and it's one I'm thrilled I got to tell. This was a difficult book for me to write. Partly because these characters and their story is so precious to me, but partly because I knew where their story needed to go and I was scared to go there. These are mature characters (for the most part) who have a mature love for each other. Their relationship struggles aren't petty jealousies (although there is some of this for sure), but something much deeper and darker, and for a person who thrives off of love stories and happy endings, it was hard to make this journey with my characters. That being said, it's a journey I will never regret making because . . . I can't say much because I don't want to give away too much . . . now Jesse and Rowen's tale is complete. You all were right, they needed one more book. Thanks for the little "push".

I've listed the links to NEAR & FAR below if you haven't already found it. As a celebration for N&F's release, I've put LOST & FOUND on sale for $.99 temporarily so if you don't have it, now's a great time to pick it up!

I'm also getting a lot of questions about Garth Black's upcoming book. I will be releasing the title soon, but I wanted to let you know that it will be released this September and some of our favorite and maybe not-so-favorite characters will be showing up as well. This book is driving me insane! I suppose having Garth's voice in your head twenty-four-seven will do that, but I'm really dying to share this one with you all, so I'll suck it up and try to make Garth shut up (at least for two minutes at a time).

Thank you for proving to me yet again and again, that I have a group of phenomenal readers who don't just hope I'll continue to keep challenging my characters and myself as I put out new books, they expect it!
