YA Indie Carnival : Dream Cast of The Eden Trilogy!

Okay, let me preface this post by saying this topic terrifies me. Not even marginally . . . it absolutely, positively terrifies me. Why? For a ton of reasons but mainly because the images I have in my head and the images readers have in their heads will never be able to be measured just right by even the best casting director. How many times have we watched our beloved books on the big screen only to be let down by the script or the acting or whatever else happens when we try to put words to screen.

So, with that said, here are some actors I could see possibly playing in the movies if the Eden Trilogy were ever headed for Hollywood. However, I'd LOVE to hear any of you reader's suggestions! Let me know what you think of mine. Be kind!

Alright, (inhaling deep breathe) here it goes . . .

Bryn Dawson (this one was SUPER hard, still don't think I've got it anywhere near right):

Mischa Barton:

OR

Emma Stone (she'd need to wear some serious heels to be Bryn tall!)

William Hayward (this one was the hardest of all. How do you personify William Hayward . . . only one answer for that. It's impossible. However, I gave it a try and that's about all I can say for it.):

Henry Cavill

Henry Cavill Picture

OR

Cillian Murphy (needs to be about ten years younger and half a foot taller, but has the William look and I'm a 28 Days Later mega fan!).

So what do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts/ideas. As always, thanks for checking in and be sure to check out the rest of my carnie cronies!

  2. I love the actor for William part - Henry Cavill, so dead on, not the other guy, though, please. And I didn't like the actress for Bryn, I think Rachel McAdams would be good, but she couldn't pass for 20 y.o., but someone like her. There are so many new actresses out there that would do. Thanks for the book, I am enjoying it (still on 1st), the plot has some faults and weak spots, but good read otherwise, reels you in - a "page-turner".

  3. Ok, I am holding onto a 25 plus year crush lol, but I would pick Pierce Brosnan for Charles.

  4. I totally agree with your idea of characters except Bryn lol. Henry Cavill is spot on! I would love to see someone like Camilla Belle play Bryn, I think she would be perfect. Another alternative for Charles could be Gerard Butler :)

  5. Luv Henry Cavall for William. Not sure about Bryn choices. Jim for Charles is a good choice. Still mulling the other choices over. Thank you for pulling this together it was fun.

  7. I love it when authors give us some eye candy, it makes reading the story so much more enjoyable in my opinion. About half way through Eternal Eden and am loving it, thanks again for another wonderful story. Got hooked on your books after stumbling by accident on Crash.
